Passing of PSD Ray Boyer

Raymond A. Boyer, age 89, a resident of Dracut and formerly of Nashua and Florida, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, with family by his side. He was the husband of the late Jeannine M. (Champagne) Boyer who died in 2021. Born in Nashua on February 23, 1936, he was the son of the late Ernest and Jeannette (Cyr) Boyer. He was raised and educated in Nashua school system. Raymond then enlisted into the United States Navy and served until his honorable discharge in 1957. While in the Navy, he was assigned to the USS Loyalty. Raymond worked for Raytheon Co. for many years, having retired as a general foreman. He enjoyed playing cribbage and golf and time with family and friends and was an active member of the Knights of Columbus for over 60 years. He is survived by three children, Michelle Loughlin, Kenneth Boyer and Kathryn Eno and her husband James; five grandchildren, Jennifer Boyer, Renee Michaud, Kelli Loughlin, Brittany Eno and Courtney Eno; six great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Abigail, Raylynn, Rory, Lucas and Lily; and a great great grandson, Coulton. He was also predeceased by two children, Patricia Boyer and Mark Boyer. Relatives and friends will be received at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough on Thursday, Oct. 30, from 4 to 6 p.m. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday morning at 10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 115 Wheeler Rd., Dracut. Those attending the Funeral Mass are kindly asked to meet at church. Burial will take place at a later date at the Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a donation in his memory to a local Veteran's organization of your choice. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Raymond A. Boyer, please visit our floral store.
