Program Description Documentation

Oktoberfest 2025 was a Family event and fundraiser held on September 28, 2025.   Proceeds enable our financial support of Corpus Christi Food Pantry (part of our Food for Families program) and the Nashua Soup Kitchen in shelter (part of our Helping Hands program).   The event is run by families within our council and was well-attended by Immaculate Conception Church families.

Planning begins in July, including advertising and soliciting sponsorships from area business to defray much of the cost.  Planning is also done in coordination with ICC's the Faith formation director and youth religious education director to complement their calendars and bring a fun social activity for young and old together.

The Oktoberfest event itself is a fun afternoon of German food and drinks, music, yard games, a stein holding contest, 50-50 raffle, and kids activities that include face painting, a kids "stein cup" holding contest, and kids yard games.   We get to socialize as parish families and K of C families, and in the process raise funds for several community service agencies in Nashua.
