For the Christmas season we had a Christmas Giving Tree at our parish (Holy Rosary Hooksett).  We learned St. Gianna’s Place utilizes gift cards for supplies, clothing, food, operating supplies, etc.  Tags were produced for local vendors (Amazon, Hannaford Super Market, Market Basket, and Walmart).  Tags range from $10 to $100.  Approximately 100 tags were prepared and 75 were redeemed. Parishioners took a tag, purchased a gift card and deposited the card in the offertory, or left in under the tree.  We received a total of $2,295 in gift cards and cash. The results of the program are attached.  To further the program, we have submitted a grant application to Supreme through the ASAP program.  For every $500 raised, Supreme will contribute $100.  This will bring the total program results to $2,695.00 ($2,295 + $400.00 from Supreme).
