Council 807 hosted its annual Simple Lenten Meals on all Fridays during Lent. There were 6 meals total beginning on 3/7/25 and ending on 4/11/25.

The event was held at St Mary Parish Hall in Dover prior to 6:30pm Mass followed by Stations of the Cross. For $5, Council 807 served meals from 4:45pm to 6:30pm, consisting of a choice between Weathervane Clam Chowder or Tomato Soup, a grilled cheese sandwich on choice of bread, a garden salad with Italian Dressing, and a choice of drink.

Over the course of the 6 weeks, we served 291 meals for $1455, and received $206 in additional donations, for a total of $1661. Total cost was around $800 for a profit of over $800.

This event is very well received and the Knights received many thank yous for this mission.

Each event had Knights as cooks, servers, etc, and the average number of Knights engaged per meal was 9. 15 total Knights from the Council participated in this endeavor.
