- KOC Birth Right Dinner Fundraiser – February 22, 2025
This important event took place at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Rochester. It was hosted and supported by Curtis Lalonde, GK, Kevin Gauthier, DGK, and Justin Tumelaire, Life Director of Council 2048. Approximately $32,000 was raised by all state Councils throughout the year in financial support for this event, which benefits the major pregnancy resource life centers in NH. Gift cards were given to pregnant women and women who have already given birth, so they can purchase food, clothing, diaper, and other baby products. As a result of local donations made to Council 2048, a check was written to the State Council for $2918, which, in turn, will be sent to pregnancy centers.
- Annual NH Right to Life Fundraising Banquet – October 8, 2024
As Chairman of this important event at the Grappone Center in Concord, many the 300 attendees were our brother Knights and their families from many Councils throughout the state. We were blessed by having Abby Johnson as our keynote speaker. She is one of the most nationally known, whole-life leaders in America. (from conception to natural life) Leading up to this event, we organized a “premiere showing” of Abby Johnson’s newly released, full-length movie, entitled “Unthinkable.” The September 21 event took place at Saint Joseph Cathedral in Manchester. We will have many local opportunities to show this powerful movie at many locations in NH during 2025, with a local KOC Council hosting the showing.
- “40 Days For Life Campaign” - Spring 2025 season
Coordinating with our brother Knight and Life Director, Norm Thibault, of Council 6725, many Councils have committed to a one-hour timeslot each Saturday to pray on the sidewalk in front of three abortion facilities. Norm coordinates the opening kickoff rallies, midpoint candlelight vigils, and closing rallies each fall and spring. These events take place at the Women’s Equity Center, Concord, Planned Parenthood, Manchester, and The Lovering Clinic in Greenland. Each Saturday, many local Councils volunteer their time to walk and pray for the pregnant women who approach these facilities to choose life for their pre-born babies. 75% of these women who consent to see their baby and hear its heartbeat, decide to give life to their baby!
- Ultrasound Technology donations to Pregnancy Care Centers in NH
In the fall of 2024, Patrick Kelly, Supreme Knight, on behalf of our Supreme Council, matched the local donation from our NH Councils, which allowed the purchase of a new ultrasound device for the Pregnancy Resource Center, Keene, NH. This center is now able to save babies’ lives by showing pregnant mothers a picture of her pre-born baby and hear her baby’s heartbeat as well. On January 29, 2025, Patrick Kelly sent another letter and a check allowing the purchase of an additional new ultrasound device for Dayspring Pregnancy Care Center in West Lebanon, NH. They will now be able to save lives for many years to come.
- “Into the Breach Series” produced by Supreme Council
In February 2025, I completed this powerful, high quality eight-week series with approximately forty of my brother Knights at the Bishop Peterson Council 4442. I will be promoting this important series which encourages men to become spiritual leaders in their homes, community, and their local Councils. I recommend we preview this series during our state convention in order to educate our brother Knights and our state Council to the value of becoming spiritual leaders. The entire program is “turnkey” with all the materials and AV are already produced. Each GK conducting this eight-week program will assure continued growth for years to come in his local Council.
- Historic Whole Life Gospel Alliance created for New Hampshire
On May 27, the first historic gathering of the state’s leading pro-life leaders took place at the Zeal Movement Church in Manchester. There were approximately forty leaders who attended. After one year of planning and praying, I was part of the “core team” made up of Dick Kiernan, brother Knight and Director of NH Alliance of Christian Churches, Deacon Fran Burke at Saint Marie’s Church & Director of Cornerstone, Jason Hennessey, President of the NH Right to Life, and Lindsay Hyvonen, Executive Director of Real Options Pregnancy Care Center. Rich McDermott, our KOC Past State Deputy, was invited and attended this gathering. Here is the letter of invitation that I sent out:
