For the last four months a Team of State Offices and Chairmen have been designing and developing a brand-new NH State Council website! The team consisted of SD Tim Kingsley, ST Dave Deworken, SW Allen Ouellette, and State Webmasters: Bob Jones, Greg Taillon and Tristan Ouellette.

From my perspective, the redesign does the following:

  • Separates News Articles and Events into two distinct categories of information.
  • Both Articles and Events are now presented in a more graphic and consistent format.
  • Most news articles will only display their title until clicked on. This allows access to news in a minimal space and drastically limits scrolling.
  • The Home page will now only display the most recent featured news articles. The main page will be limited to 6 and at most 9 recent articles. All others will be easily available from the Menu system under State Council News, Local Council News and Fourth Degree News.
  • A new improved Search function is now available to make locating a specific news article or event easier and quicker.
  • The Menu system has been greatly simplified to allow quick and easy access to News, Resources and Current Events.
  • User Feedback system is now available on the new site to capture your feedback, suggestions and questions.

We, your State Webmasters, will bring the old website offline on Saturday April 6th and transition to the new website. We are hoping to complete our transition work during Saturday morning and afternoon. We expect to bring the new site live on Saturday evening or early Sunday morning. We thank you for your patience while we complete this important transition.

Due to the increased security on the new website, we will need each knight to recreate their registered account to gain access to restricted information (KCIC Pricelist, State Directories, State Convention business documents). Please understand that everyone will automatically have access to about 95% of the content of the website even without an account. Accounts are only needed to see documents that are restricted to registered users.

I have attached a short User’s Guide to our new website to give all an advanced look at its components. As new features and functions are added to the new website, this document will be updated and made available directly on the website.

Thanks and God Bless

pdficon smallGuide to the New NH State Council Website

Worthy Brothers,

This new website, I believe, will be a tremendous aid in communication.   The format is more visual, and easier to follow.   My hope is it will help to grab the attention of younger men by being more attractive to them.

This design will be a living design, please forward your feedback both positive and negative, so we can adjust it accordingly.   Please use this site as your primary source for information, we are looking to make it the primary conduit for information to flow to you.

So please look over the website, send us your comments.

God Bless,
Tim Kingsley, State Deputy
