During the Winter Quarterly Meeting in January 2019, we conducted, as usual, the declaration for state office by qualified third degree members. The list of those declaring for state office can be found on our web site. Furthermore, any qualified 3rd degree member may declare for office anytime between now, and up to, the appointed time for elections for state office at our annual meeting at this year's State Convention.

Conduct of Candidates.
BE ADVISED: All candidates for state office shall conduct himself so as not to violate Section 162.23 of the Charter Constitution Laws of the Knights of Columbus. This section addresses appeals for political support both within and without the Order. This will be strictly enforced.
BE FURTHER ADVISED: Appeals for elective office shall not be conducted during council meetings nor via email or any other means derived from the NH State Council directory.
Finally: During the appointed hour at the annual meeting, the candidates for elective office are nominated from the floor. After the nomination of each candidate is seconded, the candidates or their assign shall have 5 minutes to appeal to the delegates for his vote. After all of the candidates for the contested elective position have completed their appeal, the vote shall take place as prescribed by the NH State Council By-laws.
