Prayer Requests

With a sad heart I have to report after a second long struggle with cancer the daughter of Grand Knight Paul Morency and his wife Dale's daughter, Carmen passed away on Thursday, April 22nd.  I knew this beautiful young woman when she was in my CCD class and her family as they were my neighbors down the road when I lived in Epsom. Carmen's faith and hope enabled her to live life fully, shining above her circumstances; her grace, encouragement, and generosity were inspiring and endeared her to countless people. She will surely soon be in the loving arms of her Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, Carmen leaves behind her husband, David, her 10-year-old daughter Sophia, her mom and dad, and her brother Ethan.

Family and friends are welcome to a Celebration of her life which will be held at Grace Church, 353 River Road in Hudson, MA on Sunday, May 23rd at 2 pm under the tent.  Masks and social distancing are required.  In honor of Carmen’s love for Disney, feel free to wear anything Disney you might have. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Sophia’s Fidelity 529 College Fund, https://go.fidelity.com/n28sa.

Go to https://www.tighehamilton.com/obituary/Carmen-Hale for her entire obituary.

Vivat Jesus.

Brothers,

Brother Dave Weideman (Hooksett Council 4961) suffered a major stroke this past fall.  Dave is 42 years old and has a wonderful wife, Diana, and 2 young boys.

Our prayers are being answered.

On January 6th Dave made the switch to outpatient therapy for speech, occupational therapy, and physical therapy. This will allow him to continue to progress in all areas. His physical strength continues to improve daily as do his communication skills. He’s motivated to continue to recover, and that most definitely contributes to his success.

The road to recovery is, and will be, a long one.

Please continue to pray for Dave's speedy recovery.  Also, please remember Dave's wife Diana and their 2 boys in your prayers.

Thank you from all the members of Hooksett Council 4961.

Fraternally,

Tony Noce, GK
