A Soldier in Need

New Hampshire Knights of Columbus Veterans Affairs Volunteer Services Committee

I have received an email from one of my guardsman whom I have served with. in the Army, national guard. He has no family alive, and he is planning on retiring to NH. He is in Syria on a peace keeping mission. He is very good man and devoted Catholic, He has told me that he was on patrol a few weeks back and his truck got shot up and went up in flames, losing all his personal property included his cell phone. I have got donations from my employer and other sources for underwear and toiletries that he has lost, and new cell phone. But since he is on peace keeping mission the package needs to be send by FedEx, I have contacted the local office with a approx. cost for shipment $ 550.00. So, I am asking for donations ASAP. If you have questions about this request please call me at 6037031723 or Email me robert [DOT] garand [AT] yahoo [DOT] com as soon as possible due to his unit is moving around Syria on regular basis.

Please make checks out to: and Mail them to me
