This is the first in a monthly series of helpful hints to enable your council to qualify for the Columbian Award.  The Novena for Life is one of the mandatory programs in overall culture of life programming.

Worthy Brother Knights,

A vacancy in the NH State Council Vocation Chairman position was the result of the advancement of Glenn Camley IPSD to the position of District Master for the New Hampshire Jurisdiction.

With input and guidance from Father Matthew Mason, Director, Office of Vocations, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Edward F. Mele Jr. PSD to the position of Vocations Chairman for the NH State Council for the remainder of FY 2019-2020.

The Knights of Columbus have been offered a chair lift to be donated to someone in need. The rail is 8 ft. long. The chair extends this length by overextending the rail.   It is nearly brand new, used only a few months. The unit is free and can be delivered by us in New Hampshire. Professional installation is strongly recommended.

Our Annual Birthright Dinner will be here before you know it. We need to work as a team to ensure that our support of the N.H. pregnancy care centers is very successful!

The Laundry Basket Drive is an integral part of this event.   It is not to soon to think about the items you will be donating. I have spoken to some of the pregnancy center directors and they have told be the donations they need the most.

My Brother Knights

I am posting the Columbian Award requirement for Community Programs in order to remind you that this is a required program. We are now entering the second quarter of our Fraternal Year and I hope that all councils have included a “Helping Hands” activity in their calendar. If there are any questions, please contact me at pauleroy82 [AT] yahoo [DOT] com.

Worthy Grand Knights,

Hopefully, your State Deputy has made you aware of this new proven, easier and softer approach to recruiting new men into the Order. It is called the Delta Church Drive Program. We started this program in certain jurisdictions last year and we have seen great results.

You are cordially invited to attend Delta Church Drive Training on Thursday, October 30, 2019 at 7:00 P.M. This will be a GoToMeeting format. So there is no travel involved. Find out about this new way to recruit members form the comfort of your home. The sessions will last approx. 60 minutes
