SpecialOlympics Race

Worthy Brothers,

The Special Olympics Partnership Profile Report Form #4584 is due on Friday, January 31, 2020. Please follow the instructions listed on page 2 of the attachment. Keep a copy for your council records and e-mail a copy of the completed form to fraternalmission [AT] kofc [DOT] org .

A prospecting landing page is a digital version of a prospect card with some unique diferences. First, the digital prospecting tool allows you to follow up with a prospective member immediately. Once the prospective member hits submit on the form, they will immediately receive a personalized email from someone in the council thanking them for their interest in the Knights. Second, they will automatically start receiving emails that have been hand crated to give the prospective member more information about who the Knights are and what we do. Finally, it allows the online membership team to track the prospective members to better understand the content prospective members are interested in and clicking on.

FOR THOSE COUNCILS WHO HAVE NOT ATTENDED DELTA CHURCH DRIVE TRAINING

Worthy Grand Knights,

Hopefully, your State Deputy has made you aware of this new proven, easier and softer approach to recruiting new men into the Order. It is called the Delta Church Drive Program. We started this program in certain jurisdictions last year and we have seen great results.

You are cordially invited to attend Delta Church Drive Training on Thursday, October 30, 2019 at 7:00 P.M. This will be a GoToMeeting format. So there is no travel involved. Find out about this new way to recruit members form the comfort of your home. The sessions will last approx. 60 minutes

2019 2020 State Emblem 200x200Worthy Brothers and Members of the NH State Council. Yes – our first notice of the year on our up-coming convention. Your State

Council Officers are hard at work preparing this event for the Spring of 2020. We are happy to say that the Radisson in Nashua has been secured for this event and excites me to tell you that this year will be one of our greatest convention to date. They’re rolling out the Red Carpet for the Knights of

New Hampshire again. We will also have a representative from Supreme and maybe a few more surprises.

As a reminder each and every Council and Assembly must have an EIN despite the fact no Council employees anyone.

As a follow on to that annually a form 990 MUST be filed with the IRS. That is not optional, it is essential.

BirthrightBannerIT’S TIME TO START PLANNING AND WORKING

Our Annual Birthright Dinner will be here before you know it. We need to work as a team to ensure that our support of the N.H. pregnancy care centers is very successful!

The Laundry Basket Drive is an integral part of this event.  Help us collect baby items for local pregnancy centers across the state.

Vocations to the priesthood and religious life are very important to the Catholic Church and to our Order. We need priests to offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and to teach and lead us on the path to Jesus. Education costs are extremely high for the candidates to the priesthood and religious life. The NH State Council wants to assist these men and women with a special calling by providing financial support for their education.

My Brother Knights,

I struggled with my four teens for years to try to keep them with God, but it was a losing battle without the support of my unchurched former wife. They are now in their 30’s and 40’s totally rejecting any form of God. I believe if I was stronger in my faith and had read the following article, I might have had a chance to save them, but I didn’t. So, if you have teens at home or young grandchildren please read the following by Dr. Gregory Popcak:

GraniteStateThe New Hampshire State Council Knights of Columbus each year seeks out an outstanding citizen of our state who through his/her life and work exemplifies and magnifies the great virtues of leadership, charity, and humanitarianism.
